No. You will need to use our desktop product to file 2015 taxes. Please visit our prior year return page to select the product that best fits your need Past Years' Product page. Please keep in mind that TurboTax Online and mobile products are only available for the current tax year.

No. You will need to use our desktop product to file 2015 taxes. Please visit our prior year return page to select the product that best fits your need Past Years' Product page. Please keep in mind that TurboTax Online and mobile products are only available for the current tax year.


I have to file 2015 taxes. Can I set the date to the correct year?

No, you cannot use this year's 2016 software to file your 2015 tax return.

To file a return for a prior tax year

Only a 2016 return can be prepared online and e-filed. 

 If you need to prepare a return for 2013, 2014 or 2015 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign,  and mail the return(s)

  (if you want to prepare on paper for free)

Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.
