Maybe...but we need more information. Did your daughter have any income from working in 2024? If she had at least $5050 of income not counting Social Security, you cannot claim her as a dependent. Is she filing a tax return to claim her own child? Who paid for over half the child's support in 2024?

WHO CAN I CLAIM AS A DEPENDENT?
You can claim a child, relative, friend, or fiancé (etc.) as a dependent on your 2024 taxes as long as they meet the following requirements:
Qualifying child
Qualifying relative
