I have a one year old and filled my taxes already. Will I get the direct ctc payment?

If you were eligible for the Child Tax Credit on the 2023 tax return that was filed, it will be included in the federal tax refund or it reduced the amount of taxes owed.

Look at your federal tax return, Form 1040 on Lines 19 and 28. If there are amounts entered on those lines you were eligible for the credit.

How do I know if my tax payment went through? It doesn't on my bank account and I just want to confirm turbo tax is sending out my payment?
