I have a 1099-misc from an award I received, do i need to attach the form to my MA state return? The mailing instructions tell me to attach any form 1099 to my return.

there is only $531.50 in box 3. no other boxes are filled in.

If you have no state tax withheld from the 1099-MISC, you do not need to attach the form to your state tax return.
