No, a 1099-INT reports interest earned from a checking or savings account or from a CD or savings bond, etc.

 Enter a 1099-INT:

  1. Open your return.
  2. Click on Federal tab.
  3. Click on Wages & Income.
  4. Click on Add/Edit to right of Investments and Savings (1099-B, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-K, Crypto).

A 1099-INT is for interest someone paid you.  Like your bank or investments.  Who is it from?  Could be interest the IRS or state paid you on a refund.

Enter a 1099-Int under
