If using the "Online" software..Premier would likely be required, even if you did not sell anything.  Why, because there are year-end distributions from most all Mutual funds hat are reported on a 1099-DIV form, and any entries in boxes 2a,b,c,or d would require the use of Premier.. ..(state software is a separate cost no matter which Online version you use when using Online Deluxe or higher)

IF using the Desktop software..desktop/download Deluxe would handle those without a problem.  If you buy Desktop deluxe..only buy from a well known company...and watch out when buying Deluxes if you need a state to file..because Deluxe comes  in two flavors..one with one free state software download..and another without a state.  (Basic never has a state..Premier and H&B always have one)
