I had to repurchase 2018 software to open my 2018 file and view that return. Error 190 and wants another $45 to download a second state. Is there any way around this?

All I need to do is view last year's federal return. TurboTax 2019 will import but won't let me view last year's return.  I already needed to re-purchase and download the 2018 software and now it is saying that I need TWO states.  It won't continue until I download the second state (for an extra $45), but I didn't file in two different states.  Is there any way to open this file without buying the second state that I definitely don't need?

Hi @Unwind80 , I am in the same boat. Did customer service ever help you open your return or give you that second state? (I have already spent a couple hours with customer service and don't want to make another call without some hope of success.) Thanks, I know it has been awhile.
