I forgot to file my W2 for 2017 and now its come around again to file my W2 for 2018. I dont want to be penalized. What should I do with both?

I know I can file my 2018 now.

I'm not sure what to do about my 2017 form that i also wish to file.

2017 W2's must be filed with the 2017 tax return. 2018 W2's should be filed with 2018 tax returns. You will have to file your 2017 taxes utilizing 2017 software.
