I filled an extension this year.. but does it file a State extension also when doing that in turbo tax?? this is for Kentucky

If you have a valid Federal tax extension (IRS Form 7004), you will automatically be granted a Kentucky tax extension. Kentucky does not have its own state extension application.

You must file an extension by April 15, 2024 to get extra time to file your taxes without a penalty. However, the extension does not give you extra time to pay your taxes, which are due on April 15, 2024.
