I filed one of my w2 forms, I tried to add an additional w2 from a different employer but my refund amount has not been adjusted to reflect the second w2 form?

Can I get a straight answer?

What do you mean you filed one?  Did you submit or just entered it on your return?

If you just entered it on your return, but you did not submit your return yet, then there could be a couple reasons.

  1. You didn't have any withholdings on your W-2
  2. Your total income is still less than your standard deduction
  3. A credit adjusted so that your net change was $0.
  4. You did not continue through the screens.

The straight answer is different for every one.  It all depends on several factors. How much were both of your W-2's?  How much were the withholdings?  What was your refund before?  Do you have dependents?  Do you qualify for any credits?

If you already submitted your return and did not add all of your W-2's prior, you will need to Amend Your Return to add the second W-2.
