I filed my taxes but it wouldn't let me finalize with a signature?

Why couldn't I sign my taxes returns?

When you e-file there is no physical signature. You "sign" electronically by entering your AGI. If you are ever asked someday for a "signed" copy of your tax return by a lender, etc., take out a pen and sign it on the line that says "Sign here."
