Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

I filed for an extension (Form 2350) and my filing deadline is now October 15, 2019. To file fed & state by this date in TurboTax, do I simply login on 10/1/19 and file?

Form 2350 provides a 6 month extension (10/15/19)
California state automatically provides 6 month extension (10/15/2019).

Can I simply login to TurboTax on 10/1/2019 to efile, or is the process more complex?

Yes, that is correct. If your return is completed and ready to go all you need to do is file on or before the extension date by going through the file tab. It is simple and easy to do.

Just note that any taxes owed are still due and payable on or before April 15, 2019 with or without an extension.
