I filed an extension but never heard anything back. Is there somewhere I can view the extension and how do I know if it was excepted?

If you e-filed the extension request you would have received an email from TurboTax when the request was either accepted or rejected. Check your email and the spam or junk mail folders.

I have paid my estimated taxes. I live in NC and the filing date was May 1, 2025. As I was finishing the return last night, I became ill. Can I file for an extension?
