I entered all info for 2018, but it’s asking me questions about 2019. Is this going to be filed as 2019 taxes and mess me up?

If you are entering information into TurboTax Online, then you are filing a 2019 tax return.  

Previous year returns, like 2018, cannot be filed electronically or using the online version of the program.  You need to purchase and download the 2018 version in order to file a 2018 tax return.  Here is a link:  2018 TurboTax Products

Did you purchase 2018 desktop software but are mistakenly logging into online TurboTax through a browser instead?

The 2018 desktop software runs locally on the computer and doesn't need a browser, and there is no log-in.   Online TurboTax requires an active Internet connection, a browser, and a log-in to your Online account.

Does your navigation menu consist of the main tabs in a black left menu column (Online TurboTax?)  Or are your main navigation tabs horizontal across the top (desktop software?)
