i dont have time to receive a transcript because taxes are do today.  my 2015 records were destroyed and i dont mind mailing forms in but NYS requires an e-file.  Can just e-file state tax because it requires you to e-file fed also?????  what do i do?

HI. New York law states that if you use software that supports e-filing you must e-file. In your situation, your software does not support e-filing your state return because you were unable to e-file your Federal return. So you can mail your state return in as well.
