I don't understand what the reject code R0000194 means

Rejection Code R0000-194 means that the primary taxpayer’s social security number has already been used on another return.

You will want to verify that you have entered the correct social security number on your return. If it is not correct, please see this Help Article for information on how to fix your rejected return. 

If you have verified that the social security number is correct, you will want to mail in your return. Please see this Help Article for a detailed explanation.

     this year , and my child  files on their  own . what else could it be. Thank you

There is the possibility that someone else filed a return with your social security number. Please see this Help Article for more information and things you can do to protect yourself.
