I claim my partner on my taxes he gets SS benefits not taxed.and I was offset this year can i file a 8379 so he gets his half back debt was not his only mine?

Not sure what you mean by "partner"--you can only file as an injured spouse if you are legally married. You say you are claiming your partner--so that must mean you are not married.

Not sure what you mean by "partner"--you can only file as an injured spouse if you are legally married. You say you are claiming your partner--so that must mean you are not married.
