If you are a Single Member LLC, you can still file your business taxes on the Schedule C of the Form 1040. Just enter your EIN and the name of the new business (if any) on the Schedule C. However, if the LLC is incorporated as a corporation or a partnership...then you must file the appropriate business return (1065, 1120, 1120S).
