I can't find my financial institution when I am entering my interest income from my 1099-INT. Where can I add my bank if it does not appear in the options listed?

You can manually add your 1099 INT information if your bank is not listed.  On the screen where the bank name is being asked for, scroll down and select the "I'll type it in Myself" button and you will be brought to a screen where you can type your bank name and the interest amount.  See sample screenshot below.

You can enter the interest income information directly into the TurboTax program without using a URL.

When in TurboTax, select Federal under the left panel.  Then select "Wages & Income".

  1. Scroll down until you see the section titled "Interest on 1099-INT".  Select Edit/Review.
  2. Select in the Box "Add another 1099-INT"
  3. Instead of typing in the bank name or sign in URL, scroll down a bit further and you will see a grey box which says "I'll type it in myself", and select that.
  4. On the next screen, you can just type in your bank name, who the 1099-INT belongs to, as well as the amounts.

By doing the above, you will not need to enter the URL and will have all of the required information for that 1099-INT entered into the program.
