I had the same problem with TT saying my connection was not secure. Here is how I got my taxes to e-file.
1) make sure you have a network (Ethernet) cable that you can hookup to your computer and your router
2) disconnect from your wifi by going into your "network settings)
3) connect the network cable from your computer to your router
4) restart your computer so that it will capture the Ethernet settings only. If you wifi turns back on, disconnect from it again. In your taskbar the wifi icon should now look like a computer/monitor icon.
5) restart your TT to file by e-file.
6) once you are done, turn off your computer, and disconnect the network cable from the router/computer.
7) when you turn your computer back on, connect to your wifi again.
