I bought 2022 TT with one state, MN. I needed to uninstall and reinstall TT 2022 Deluxe + State. TT 2022 installed/ updated successfully. How do I download MN again?

I opened the installed 2022 and the update failed leaving 2022 unusable.  I removed and reinstalled.  The update went smoothly.  But TT now wants $45 for MN.  But I am due MN.  If the update had not failed, I would be able to open my MN return.  How do I get around paying $45 for a state download I already had?

Start a fake tax return with MN as the state. Click File and then New Tax Return.  You should be able to download the state program again without charge.  You can then Open the 2022 return you need to complete.
