I am waiting for my covid19 stimulus pay and the news stations are saying they are being delayed when using services such as turbotax. Does turbotax use its own account to collect them or since i used

They are referring to TurboTax, H & R Block, Jackson Hewitt etc, for taxpayers would paid their fees out of their Federal refund.  The banking information the IRS has is for the banks that handle these transactions.  Last I heard TurboTax is working with the IRS.  If the IRS can't get your banking information, you will be issued a check.

The Treasury Department has confirmed that economic impact paper checks from the $2.2 trillion coronavirus stimulus relief package have already started going out and are in the mail.

Persons who filed a tax return using TurboTax, were eligible for a refund and had their direct deposit information on their tax return, will get their stimulus payment direct deposited. Persons who had the same situation but paid their TurboTax fees from their federal refund may not get a direct deposit because the IRS may not have the direct deposit information. If not,  a check will be issued by the IRS an mailed to you at the address shown on the tax return.

There seems to be some difference of opinion among those answering questions whether or not the IRS has your direct deposit information if you paid your fees from your refund. Regardless of whether they have it or not, you will get the stimulus payment one way or the other.
