I am using EFTPS, but have some unexpected additional income. How can I change the EFTPS amount for Sept and Jan, or make additional payments?

You can make additional estimated tax payments at any time through EFTPS.  Just login and click on "Make A Payment", then select form 1040, then choose tax type Estimated 1040ES.   You should also be able to edit any future scheduled payments.
