It depends if you are age 19 or older. If you are, is your gross income for tax year 2023 $4,700 or more? If so, then no one can claim you as a dependent.

My tax return got rejected because my parents filed me for dependent and I apparently filed for independent so was just wondering how I would fix that in my documents?
