I am ready to file my taxes . When will the Form K-1 be available in Turbo Tax 2020.

Turbo Tax Software states that Form K01 is not yet ready.  When will it be ready?

I assume you mean "I have to include a Sched K-1 in my 2020 1040 tax return.  When will the software be updated so that I can include the details on the K-1 I have received?"

This functionality is in the application.  I filed my own tax return about 2/21 and it included my K-1 details.

Historically, IRS tax forms start becoming available in January, with a few stragglers (most notably Form 1040X) getting finalized in February.

State tax forms can become available for filing any time between December and late February, depending on the state and the tax form.

Can I still work on my return before my forms are ready?

It depends which taxes you're working on.

Federal Taxes

You can still work on your return and finish most of it. Once your forms become available, we’ll create the forms and include all of your info.

You’ll only be able to e-file or print your return once the forms are available.

While you’re working on your return, we’ll ask if you want to receive email updates when your forms become available.

Its available in the online product as of today.  Here is a link to the forms availability list.  A K1 received from a trust or estate is the beneficiary's share of the trust or estate distributable net income.  The income reported by the beneficiary retains the same character as the income in the trust or estate.

IRS says all tax forms are available. Turbotax still tells me that Form K-1 is not available.

All the K-1 forms (Trust, Partnership, S-Corp) are now available in TurboTax online and CD/download versions.  

Please make sure your program is up-to-date.  In TurboTax CD/Download, you will be prompted to download any updates available when you open the program.  You can also update the program while you have it open by following these steps:

1. Click on the Online link in the black bar at the top of the page.
2. Click on Check for Updates.
3. TurboTax will download and install any updates available.  If there aren't any updates, you will receive the message "Your software is up to date."

TurboTax Online automatically updates the website when the forms become available.
