No, a 1095C and a 1095A are not the same.  You do not enter a 1095C on a tax return at all.   If you had marketplace health insurance you will have a 1095A showing how much the healthcare.gov program paid for your health insurance and how much you paid.   If you did not have that kind of insurance you should say NO to the question that asks if you have a 1095A.
