I am importing 1099-DIV from Vanguard. Under payer's information / "received from", the imported data shows the fund name, rather than "Vanguard." Do I need to change it?

No. The fund name is correct.

If your converted to a brokerage account, as Vanguard has been pushing,

you can aggregate all dividends under one line on Schedule B "Vanguard".

If you are still in the old style account(s) with Vanguard mutual fund company,

IRS wants all dividends itemized by fund name.

That's how it is. I don't make this stuff up.
