Husband died, need to access our Turbotax account

Husband always handled filings, filing jointly.  He died March 15th, 2025.  Wife needs to get into Turbotax account without knowing userid or password.  We could set her up with another account for future use, but she would lose all the history.  Need to see last year's return to figure out how to proceed, starting from scratch.  The biggest complication in filings are medical expenses; not sure where to start but want to get into account.

Needle 1959 is asking for deceased best friend, trying to help his wife file for 2024.  Three years of cancer, then he passed very quickly at the end without providing userids and passwords for accounts (all of them!)

Completely unprepared for this, need help badly!

Only medical expense paid in 2024 and not reimbursed can be entered on her 2024 joint tax return.

earlier med expense is irrelevant.

TurboTax Support won't let you in without the username and password.

sorry for your loss. You can contact Turbotax to see if they can help but without a user ID,  they may not be able to do so. If not, you can submit form 4506 to the IRS to obtain copies of prior returns. however, first read the top of the form for alternatives for getting help.
