If you did not file a 2017 tax return, your AGI would be zero.

If you have an original copy of your 2017 tax return, locate the correct form for the AGI amount:

  1. Form 1040-Line 37
  2. Form 1040A-Line 21
  3. Form 1040EZ-Line 4

If you do not have the information, the best and fast way to access the 2017 AGI is to order a transcript from the IRS.  Click here Get Transcript and select "Get Transcript Online " On the transcript, look under section "Adjustment to Income" and find the amount for Adjusted Gross Income.
