I have put in all the information on my taxes. I always use the free version because I don’t have an HSA or any other form that requires me to upgrade. I went through, step by step, filling in all the information for me and my wife and it said we were all good and aren’t missing anything, meaning that if something was reported to TurboTax or the IRS and we didn’t input it, it would know. When we go to file, it asks us to upgrade because our taxes show a 1084 form, or an HSA form and the free version does not let you file when you have this form. I cannot say this clearly enough... we in no way shape or form have an HSA account. Never have, never will. We do not understand why it shows us we are fine until we click to file our taxes. We have called all companies we worked for and they even confirmed they did not report an HSA account. How do we get this fixed so we don’t have to upgrade for no reason?? I have tried calling customer service but I get a robot and I even try to go to tech support and it tells me I can’t even get that with the free version. Free or not, there should be a way to talk to someone. How do we get this fixed??

I'm not sure how the HSA information may have gotten into your program. However, you should have a form 8889 associated with it, and if so you can delete that form as follows, and it may resolve your issue:
1. Find the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar and click on it
2. Click on Tools
3. Find Delete a Form and click on it
4. Look for form 8889 in the list of forms and click on the option to delete it
I did put the wrong from number in this forum, but now that I have deleted it, its now saying I have a Schedule 3 Nonrefundable Credit and still need to file a form 1040. What is the schedule 3? We have never had anything like that before.
Schedule 3 is for additional credits and payments as follows:
You can view schedule 3 while logged into your TurboTax program to see what is on it as follows:
1. Find the "Tax Tools" option on your left menu bar and click on it
2. Click on "Tools"
3. Click on "View Tax Summary"
4. On your left menu bar find the "Preview my 1040" option and click on it
