For the state taxes I accidentally said yes for the "use tax" and I can't undo it. Even though I go back to edit and click on "no," it still says I owe the $10 tax.

You'll need to delete the Use Tax Worksheet in your California return.

  • Go to My Account at the top of your screen. From the drop-down, choose Tools .
  • In the Tool Center, choose Delete A Form (see screenshot).
  • In Review Form List, find the Use Tax Worksheet, and choose Delete.
  • On the screen Delete Selected Form, select Delete. After the screen Form Successfully Deleted, go back to the forms list, and verify that the form has been deleted.
