I paid taxes on a third of my coronavirus-related distribution on my 2020 taxes. For 2020 I filled out a 1099-R and the 8915-E. When I log into TurboTax to get my 2021 taxes started it is not pulling in the taxable amount (the next third) for the 2021 year. It is just pulling in blank 1099-R. I thought that TurboTax would automatically pull in the taxable income for 2021 (and for 2022). Not sure if I have to fill in the 1099-R with info from my 2020 1099-R, or if I have to do something else entirely. Any help to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The form is not yet complete, but if you visit the section showing your blank 1099-R from 2020 and just click Continue. The next screen asks if you had a disaster distribution. Answer that question Yes.
The next screen says the section is not complete because the IRS instructions are not yet final. You will need to revisit the section later.

I don't see the form listed at all on the link provided?
The form you need is not on the list yet, but will be soon. 8915-E (Qualified 2020 Disaster Retirement Plan Distributions and Repayments) will be added soon, but TurboTax will fill out the form for you once the software is fully updated for tax year 20221. Keep checking back, it is still early. @drujoe15
Thank you! I just logged in and TurboTax said software is updated for 2021 and that the IRS is accepting returns. 8915-E is still not showing/filled out by TurboTax. Will keep checking back. 🙂
