How to manual input prior year 1040 data?

Starting with 2025 for Premier Desktop version.  

Over several years, many customer have asked the same question without clear answers.  In order to have a comparison, do you have a 1040 for 2024 that I can manually key in 1040 line balances to compare to 2025 data?  I don't have other tax software to "transfer" from.  Want to input from my 2 pages of 1040 data.

Any data that need to be carried forward to 2025, you will find the opportunity to enter that in the appropriate section of 2025 TurboTax as you proceed

Well you could buy the 2024 Desktop program and fill out the 2024 return.  You can use the Forms mode to enter amounts directly on the 1040.   Then see if it matches the 2024 return that you filed.   That would be a good check on 2024.    If it matches you will have the .tax2024 file to transfer into 2025.

don't know if its available yet, but there is a form - two-year comparison that will allow you to see 2025 vs 2024 line for line but you'll need to enter the 2024 amounts using forms mode.

No thank you. Not buying last years software just to input comparative data.
