How to import tax extension filing onto my Turbotax windows software

Hi,

I recently made the mistake of filing for a tax extension online (outside of my TurboTax windows software) and I paid the tax due.  Now my TurboTax software does not recognize that I filed an extension and paid the tax due.  Is there a way I can import this tax extension or account for it somehow with my desktop TurboTax software?

At this time, there is no option to import your tax extension into your TurboTax software.

Thanks.  I guess the next best option is to manually type in the amount of taxes I paid into TT in the extension section. It would be nice if there is a way to upload a pdf, this way I could attach form 4868 so it could be included with my state return.  My state of NJ requires that I attach form 4868.

If anyone knows how to upload a pdf to TT please let me know.
