I received a large refund last year and was paid interest by IRS. Where can I get a 1099int for that? Don't recall one coming by mail.

If the interest amount is less than $10, you won't receive form 1099-INT.

Enter the amount on your return as if you had the form.

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account.
  2. Select Federal from the left menu, then Wages & Income (this is called Income & Expenses in TurboTax Self-Employed)
  3. Go to Investments & Savings and select Show More, then select Start or Revisit next to Interest on 1099-INT
  4. Select Okay! on the screen Time to kick off your investments! OR Yes on the screen Did you receive any interest income? then Continue

I am trying to find out the number to use. I know where to enter it.

in 2020 My refund was delayed and a 1099int was issued. I thought that may have happened for 2021 also, but could not find a 1099int from the irs.

Digging into my records, I found that the refund check equaled the expected amount, thus zero interest and no 1099int.
