A 2023 return cannot be prepared in Online TurboTax.   If you want to prepare it with TurboTax, then it would require the 2023 desktop software to be installed on your computer (not a tablet.)   The 2023 return cannot be efiled with TurboTax.  It would have to printed, signed, dated, and mailed.   It is recommended to mail by a method that has tracking.  If you also have a state return, then the state return is mailed to the state tax agency.
