How to file a tax return for a friend

To do a return online, they will need to set up a TurboTax Account under their email, phone, and name, then you can assist them with their return.

If you purchase a CD/Download product, you can prepare multiple returns with the software.

My friend does not have a computer or an email, they use mine.  How can I help them file???

If you want to allow your friend to use your computer (or mobile device) to prepare a tax return, that's fine.  If your friend is using online TurboTax she needs her own account and user ID.  Do not use yours or your own return will be overwritten and you will lose it forever.

With online TurboTax you get ONE return per fee.
