It's a loooong story, but the short version is that I received a K-1 form, that showed a short-term capital loss in the "notes section" (not in Box 11), with instructions to enter the loss on Schedule D, Line 5, Column H. Easier said then done. Since turbotax's K-1 abilities are somewhat limited when it comes to special codes, I had to play around A LOT, to figure out how to the loss to show up on the proper line (answer: create another K-1 Form, and just enter short-term capital loss on Line 8).
However, when I was trying to figure it out, I somehow now have an erroneously duplicate entry of the same loss amount in an 8949, and I can't figure out how to delete it, or at least 0 it out (via either form override, or Easy Step). It's odd, because when I go into the Easy Step, I don't see the manual entry at all, only the automatic download entries.
Can anyone assist? Thanks!

Have you tried Forms Mode (if you are using a desktop version of TurboTax)?
If entering a second K-1 gives the desired result, you have to delete the first K-1.
This should not be a problem.
