If you have already transmitted (e-filed) the return you will not be able to cancel it. However, if you are still working on the return and just want to know how to cancel what you have done so far follow the steps below:
1. Log into your account
2. Click on “continue my return”
3. Once in the return > click on “My accounts” at the top of the screen
4. Click on clear and start over
Note: The option to clear and start over is only available if you have not yet paid for the program.
