How Much Is My Total Refund

Your Total Refund can be found on the Tax Home page by logging into your TurboTax account.  The TOTAL TAX REFUND is the net amount of your Federal Refund (or amount owed) and your State Refund (or amount owed).  

Here's an example:

Federal tax refund   $2000

State Tax owed        -$150

                                _______

Total Tax Refund    $1850

Should my total refund be grey? What does that mean? I thought it should be green?

If there is some confusion about the refund amount, try viewing your tax summary. From the menu on the left, choose Tax Tools. Click on Tools. Choose View Tax Summary. You will be able to see the refund amount for your Federal return on the summary. For more detail, you can Preview my 1040 on the left and the state return view, if applicable.
