That depends on which version you are using. The price of state when using TurboTax Free Edition online varies from the state price when using Deluxe Online or higher version. You can go here https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/ and click State additional under each one and a pop-up will appear with state cost.
And if you are using TurboTax CD/Download versions, you can go here https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/ and click either State additional or 1 state download to see cost for each additional state.
Thank you, finally found it under the fine print.
@Anonymous When you are on the screen to compare CD/download products you can click on the state return information (the print is kind of little--under the price for the software) and you will see that the current price for an additional state is $40, and it goes to $45 later in the tax season --usually in March.

This is a new forum layout. Some posts that have June 2019 dates are really older posts from the old forum that got moved over. So they might be for prior years and not current info. When they migrated over the dates got changed to June 2019. And the screen shots got deleted.
Are you asking about a state for the Online version or an extra state for the Desktop CD/Download program?
For the Desktop version you get a free download of one state PROGRAM, not returns filed. You can prepare unlimited federal and unlimited state returns. Some people need to file in more than one state so they have to buy another state program. You can print and mail the state for free or each state (including the first one) is 19.99 to efile (goes up to 24.99 in March).
If you buy the cd at the store the Basic version does not include the state. And Deluxe is available both with and without the state. Because some states don't have an income tax.
On the product page click on one state download under the price to see the state price. See this screen shot
@VolvoGirl Not sure why but it seems the user @Anonymous edited out the original question and left a blank post to mystify other users. The question was asking about prices for 2020 additional state software for CD/download.
Probably because he found the answer.
