How long does it take to pay my taxes

I filed my raves on 2/18. I owe 1,600 on my federal return. I have my banking information, so how long will it be before they take the funds out of my bank account? I figured the payment would have processed a few days after the return was submitted and approved

When you e-filed, you would have chosen a date for the withdrawal up to the due date. If you didn't specify a withdrawal date (or even if you did), it can take as long as the IRS takes to process your return. The IRS website site, says most returns are processed within 21 days from acceptance.  Since it has been over 21 days you should contact the IRS as once the return is filed TurboTax will not have access to when you get your return....you can contact them at 800-829-1040

i had to my ny state a tax and I chose my withdrawal date to be today, but the money has yet to be withdrawn. What should I do?

Give them 1-2 business days. If the payment still has not been withdrawn, contact the state taxing authority.
