How does a w4s affect my return. Just saw j received one electronically

A w-4 is a form you give to your employer to adjust how many people you want to claim on your taxes.  Some people choose to have withholding reflect fewer people then they are actually going to claim, this should result in a bigger tax refund.  You can also put a certain dollar amount you want taken out from each pay period,  in addition to the IRS deduction.

No it’s a W4S. How doe this form differ.
