The online software did not meet my expectations. I paid to view my return but I did not file. It was not filling my 1040 correctly. How do I request a refund?

I tried the online form here but it's not working. I entered my order number <removed> but it gives me an error "Order Number is in an incorrect format."

You are using the Online software, the form you are filling out is for the CD/Download software.

You are going to have to talk to Customer Support. The best way to get to customer support is to use the Help icon in the upper right-hand side of the TurboTax screen. You can also try here.

I'm not able to reach anyone on the phone. The voice prompts never give me the option to talk to a person.

I tried to e-file my taxes and when I went to submit I got a message that I needed to update my software.  When I tried doing this I got Microsoft error  1603.  I was un able to e file because I could not update my software.  So I printed out my taxes and mailed them in.  In order e file my state taxes I had to pay an extra $25   Visa ending in 5050  Since I did not e file my state of MN return I would like a refund of the $25  Thank you

No one in the user forum can resolve a billing issue.  If you have a question about your TurboTax fees or billing, make sure you use the word “billing” in your request for help.  Do not use the word “refund.”
