how do you change a value already entered ?

You should be able to click in the field, delete the original entry, and plug in the new entry. Are you working in TurboTax Online?

If you can't change the dependent's information in the My Info/Personal Info area, the easiest thing to do may be to delete that dependent than re-add the dependent.
