How do we add in my income from refund from regional income tax agency for last year?

Was this a refund of taxes you paid in and then claimed as an itemized deduction?

If so, the you will enter it by selecting

1. Federal
2. Personal Income
3. State and Local Tax Refunds on Form 1099-G

Note, if you took the standard deduction last  year, this is not taxable income. 

If this is for something other than a refund from last year, then you would enter it as follows:

1. Federal
2. Personal Income 
3. Other 1099-G Income
