If you have not filed a 2019 return, then you would use a Zero for a AGI. You would not need a 2019 AGI if you are not filing a 2020 return.

How do non filers get an agi

I am filing 2020 and read that I should enter 1 for AGI (was non filer tool for 2019). It's been rejected. Is the correct answer to enter 0 for AGI?
