Is the for the IRS (did you receive a form), or for Turbo Tax?  Please provide details here and someone will assist.

How do I upload identification to TurboTax?  This is being done in response to a request by TurboTax.

Are you being asked for identification in a review of your return by a TurboTax CPA or EA? Is this to restore an account? If not, be aware of the source of this request.

  1. Sign in to your TurboTax account. If you're already signed in, select Tax Home on the left menu (on mobile devices, tap the upper-left corner to open the menu).
  2. Show Your tax returns & documents and select your desired tax year.
  3. Select My Docs.
  4. From My Docs, select Add a new doc, select the document you want to upload, then Open.
  5. (Optional) Assign a category and tax year to the document.
  6. Select Add document to upload it to My Docs.
