How do I turn off text message updates?

If you would like to no longer receive text alerts, you can text back with the message STOP or you can change how you receive messages in your TurboTax account.

Really? Why would you tell me I "can change how I receive text messages in my TurboTax account," and not tell me HOW? What use is an answer like that? At least put in a link to the procedure I need.

If you are referring to marketing preferences, you can reply "STOP" to discontinue the services. I have also provided steps below to update your preferences:

 

  1. While in TurboTax,
  2. Open your Intuit Account listed on the lower left side of your screen,
  3. Select Data & Privacy,
  4. Scroll up until you see TurboTax,
  5. Select View,
  6. On this screen, you can turn off all notifications from TurboTax.
