How Do I Start

Hello. I am new to taxes and I want to know where I should even start. I do not make much money since I am a full-time college student, but I believe I may have made enough this past year to input my taxes. What forms will I need and where should I start? Thank you to anyone who answers!

You can start a new tax return here. Start with the Free Edition, and if you need to upgrade, you can later. You need any form that reports income to you in 2021, such as your W-2s and 1099s. TurboTax will walk you through entering your tax data. If someone else, such as a parent can claim you, make sure that you indicate that in the personal section. TurboTax will ask those questions when you start the return. If you have questions along the way, you can ask here.
